The Jeweler's Philosophy

Controlling the Art!

Episode Summary

If you’ve ever felt that you’re not the one in control of your art, this episode will help you! Over the past 10+ years I have had periods where I felt that my art and jewelry was up for committee. This has normally come in the form of needing or, feeling that I needed to, create jewelry for customers that I didn’t really want to make. At these points in my career I felt that I was not in control of what I was making. I hated feeling that way! Mainly because I was still putting, all I had, in the piece but hating every minute. It wasn’t until I heard a stage presentation from Tom Bilyeu the host of “Impact Theory,” that I realized why I’m setting out to do what I’m doing right now; building my business so I can create the art I want to make, how I want to make it, and sell it the way I want. I for one am tired of having all the skills and feelling like I need to beg for the privilege to make terribly designed jewelry. Enjoy! MF
